These – experiences of travel and nature – are honed and refined until only a distilled essence remains.

Pure colour and form are the basic ingredients of my work. Coloured areas react to and influence each other.

Sometimes this “building up” of coloured areas on a two dimensional ground can take up to two years. It is a very meditative process – eliminating pictorial elements will initiate a new beginning, a new journey of discovery.
